SISK and IPER jointly set up a legal cell, where every first Saturday of the month, an advocate addressed the problems of the local women and advised them accordingly. Many issues came to light which were more basic in nature, related to improvement in their living conditions, like better housing, toilets, water and sanitation . He spoke about the various schemes and facilities provided by the government.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, a Walk was organized to eliminate all forms of violence. This was a mega Event participated by various clubs and organizations.
Besides these, several panel discussions and awareness programmes have been held on Violence and Conflict Resolution participated by eminent speakers and social activists.
